Greetings, I’m Dan Flora. And I watch “TOP GUN” frequently.

Growing up, I wanted to be a fighter pilot. But at the age of 8, my parents told me I couldn’t because of my eyesight. Turns out, they lied. Any military pilot wearing contact lenses must simply be able to demonstrate they can replace them within 30 seconds should they fall out in the cockpit during flight. I know this because sometimes life in advertising gets rough, and my coping mechanism is wondering what life would be like if I had found my rightful place in an F-22 cockpit instead of a pitch deck.

As a Freelance Creative Director/Writer, critics say I have a gift for earned media ideas - aka making “ads” that people actually want to watch and interact with.

I call it “Corporate Memeing,” and I have fun doing it.

Still wish I was in an F-22.
