What began with “hahaha what about a promo for a free Whopper if you get fired” became “lol like a Whopper Severance package” and soon after “wait, it’s for anyone who’s ever been fired but they gotta confess on LinkedIn.”

4,582 LinkedIn members loved the Whopper enough to tender their confession.

We pulled off the first hashtag-driven campaign in LinkedIn history, and gave genuine job placement aid to the first 100 participants who needed it.
